The Truth About Anger

Those of us in or associated with recovery are well acquainted with the good, the bad and the ugly sides of that most potent of emotions, anger. But sometimes it helps to be reminded of those different sides. We tend to forget, for instance, that anger can genuinely serve us, particularly those of us who hesitate to get mad (or express it) because we believe it’s somehow wrong, or unbecoming, or we fear losing control. Knowing when and how to express anger beneficially is important. So is knowing when let go of it, even legitimate anger, and move on before it turns bad and ugly: destructive to others and/or ourselves.  For a quick rundown on The Truth About Anger, click here:
